The PDF Printer software introduces enhanced functionalities and diverse sources for creating and sharing PDF documents. It now allows users to merge multiple files into a single PDF in the desired sequence, improving document management and compilation efficiency.

One notable feature is the ability to generate PDF versions of selected Text Message threads. Users can easily select messages, add them to the Messages tab within PDF Printer, specify the order, and convert the collection into a PDF file, streamlining the preservation of important conversations.

The integrated Web-browser enables opening, previewing, and converting any HTML page into PDF format. This capability ensures that saved web pages remain accessible and visually consistent with their original display, even without an active internet connection. Additionally, users can save web pages as PDFs for transfer to other devices via platforms like iTunes, facilitating offline analysis and sharing. Sending pages as PDF instead of URLs guarantees uniform viewing experience for recipients across different devices and applications.

Document transfer to PDF Printer via USB cable is supported through iTunes File Sharing. Once installed, PDF Printer appears in the “Open In…” options for numerous popular file types, allowing conversion of attachments from email applications or documents opened through Safari. Furthermore, users can download files from Dropbox directly into the application for conversion or upload completed PDFs back to Dropbox, providing seamless integration with cloud storage. The app also supports printing via AirPrint.
